Product Description

The 8160 Series Universal Cartridge Seal is a modular cartridge seal family. It includes interchangeable elastomer bellows and O-Ring pusher seal design. A common seal head/mating ring set, utilized throughout all versions, is reversible to allow rotating seat/mating ring or rotating seal head operation. It also has an optional quench gland (8160Q) with carbon throttle bushing.
